Voronka pulls off a combination most places in Almaty settle for part of: a real breakfast, specialty coffee on guest beans that rotate, and the classic milk drinks made properly. Usually something has to give; here it doesn’t.

It runs across several rooms, so even when it is full it rarely feels crowded — there is normally a table going somewhere. The window room is the one worth holding out for.

At the weekend they do specials they do not do the rest of the week — the reason my Saturday morning comes back down the mountain to here.
